BASIC FACTS ABOUT BATS

Bats are the only mammals that can fly properly. With extremely long fingers and a wing membrane stretched between, the wings of a bat anatomy like human hands. Nearly 1,000 species of bats can be found worldwide. In fact, bats make up a quarter of all mammals on earth!
